Agreed FLU has killed more people than corona as of now. There is a lot of uncertainty with Corona and whole world doesn't understand the impact of Corona. Where as for FLU has been here for more than 100 years. and we have seen it's impact and we have a treatment plan for FLU ; and also taking every precaution we can like vaccines, awareness.  And people have accepted the risk .

It's not good to create panic.. but the comparison of stats with flu is inappropriate.

Flu has a fatality rate of 0.01% of the incidence. But for corona its 3%. Also, doctors around the world have no idea of how to address it (at least initially). 

Further, ee china galla stats are totally wrong. They are reporting around 3K deaths, while the actual number is at least 10 times higher.
