how old is your baby? if infant , you can book front seats which have more space. both airlines allow front seat booking with infants but i guess emirates has more seats allocated since it does not have economy plus category.

check which one has availability for front seats. always take the front seats as we need that extra space to handle baby.

 

on the side note , BA food is not that great....but they give good amounts of liquor if you want to drink
