Hyderabad US Consulate new building

కెన్నత్‌ జస్టర్‌.. హైదరాబాద్‌ అద్భుతంగా అభివృద్ధి చెందుతున్నదని పేర్కొన్నారు. ఇలాంటి నగరంలో యూఎస్‌ కాన్సుల్‌ జనరల్‌ కార్యాలయం రావటం ఇక్కడి పౌరులకేగాక ఇతర రాష్ట్రాల వారికి సౌకర్యంగా ఉంటుందని చెప్పారు. రానున్న రోజుల్లో అమెరికా- తెలంగాణ మధ్య ఉన్న బంధం మరింత బలపడుతుందని ఆశాభావం వ్యక్తంచేశారు. 2021లో నూతన భవనం అందుబాటులోకి రానుందని జస్టర్‌ తెలిపారు.

 

రూ.2500 కోట్లతో 12 ఎకరాల్లో నిర్మాణం

మల్టీ బిల్డింగ్‌ కాన్సులేట్‌ కాంప్లెక్స్‌ను ఫైనాన్షియల్‌ డిస్ట్రిక్ట్‌లోని నానక్‌రాంగూడలో 12 ఎకరాల విస్తీర్ణంలో నిర్మిస్తున్నారు. రిచర్డ్‌ కెనడీ ఆర్కిటెక్ట్‌ బాధ్యతలు చూడగా.. క్యాడెల్‌ కన్‌స్ట్రక్షన్‌ కంపెనీ భవనాన్ని నిర్మిస్తున్నది. నిర్మాణం కోసం దాదాపు రూ.2,500 కోట్లు (350.5 మిలియన్‌ డాలర్లు) ఖర్చు చేస్తున్నారు. నిర్మాణంలో అధునాతన సాంకేతికతను వినియోగిస్తున్నారు. భారత్‌, అమెరికా సంస్కృతులు ప్రతిబింబించేలా చూసుకుంటున్నారు.

That was a heritage building called paigah palace, the office building of HUDA/HMDA from its inception till govt gave the building away to US consulate as a token gift and also security wise its in a prime safe location, now that HMDA dept got kicked to tarnaka from 2007 or 08

Us consulate was always expected to come up in financial district sooner  but us authorities were slowing that move as not all facilities like schools, hospitals for their staff to be willing to make a switch to move to one corner of city
