The toll increases by 482 to 20,642. More than 4.56 lakh people have recovered. Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu remain worst-hit With 2,17,121 confirmed cases of COVID-19 so far, Maharashtra remains the worst-affected state in the country, followed by Tamil Nadu (1,18,594) and Delhi (1,02,831). "I've tested positive for COVID-19, I'm fine, I will work from isolation," she tweeted. The 53-year-old said in a video on Twitter that she would remain in quarantine for 14 days before taking another test. Anez becomes the second South American president in a matter of days to contract the corona virus after Brazil's Jair Bolsonaro announced his positive result on Tuesday.
