Puducherry CM orders Section 144

Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanswamy has ordered the imposition of section 144 of CrPC in the union territory. "All essential Govt services will continue & shops selling essential items such as milk, food items, medicines, etc will remain open," he tweeted on Sunday.

This is big. Almost 8 days passenger trains close ante, India Lo first time anukunta ...All India level lo trains shut down avadam epudu avaledemo, except during the 1971 War time...apudu kuda limited service am unde..

All pointing towards massive shutdown ..Slowly.!

Corporator in Telangana booked for violating Janta Curfew

A municipal corporator has been arrested in Telangana for opposing the Janta Curfew on Sunday. It is being reported that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had ordered the Deputy General of Police (DGP) to initiate action against anyone found to be in violation of the 24-hour self-imposed curfew underway in Telangana. A complaint was filed against the corporator at Sangareddy Town Police Station.

22 active cases in Rajasthan: State Health Minister Dr Raghu Sharma

The Health Minister of Rajasthan, Dr Raghu Sharma told India Today that more than 300 suspected cases of the novel coronavirus have been identified in the state. As many as 25 of these have been found to be positive, Dr Raghu Sharma said. He further added that 3 of these patients have been cured and the remaining 22 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across Rajasthan.

Sydney-return deboarded from train, bus full of Indians from Gulf screened in Telangana

A bus with a majority of Indians who recently returned from overseas was stopped by authorities at the Telangana-Maharashtra border on Sunday morning. The Volvo bus on its way from Mumbai airport to Hyderabad was halted in the Sangareddy district. The bus driver said that as many as 40 passengers who recently returned to India from the Gulf. At present, stamps have been put on the passengers' hands and they have been ordered to self-quarantine at their respective homes after a thermal check revealed normal body temperature.

In another case which has come to light from Telangana where a passenger who arrived in Hyderabad from Sydney on Saturday night has been detained for violating the home quarantine order. The passenger was deboarded from the AP Sampark Kranti Express from Kachiguda Hyderabad to Nagpur at the Bhongir railway station on Sunday morning.

Guntur man tests positive for Covid-19

A 24-year-old male in Guntur has tested positive for the novel coronavirus, taking the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 22. He arrived in India from London via Dubai and is now undergoing treatment in an isolation ward.
