Queue of mountain climbers line a path on Mount Everest in 2019.Coronavirus panic has reportedly prompted Chinese officials to close off their side of Mount Everest to hopeful climbers and potential daredevils. Multiple mountaineering sources confirmed to ABC News there will be no new permits issued for the upcoming spring season for those looking to make the famous trek up the northern side of the mountain.
