Congress shuts down Capitol, House and Senate office buildings to the public

On Thursday, the House and Senate sergeants at arms announced the halt of public tours at the US Capitol and all House and Senate office buildings in response to coronavirus. The closure will run through April 1. Pentagon Press Secretary Alyssa Farah also confirmed the cancelation of public tours at the Pentagon until further notice.
