PornHub triples server capacity as employees encouraged to work from home

Adult entertainment website PornHub.com has announced that it has tripled its current server capacity in order to cope with increased traffic during the Coronavirus pandemic.

In a bid to mitigate the spread of the virus, many companies have enforced a work from home policy for their employees, prompting PornHub to enact contingency plans.

 

“Following a sharp increase in working from home due to the outbreak of COVID-19, we have initiated ‘Operation RSI’,” a statement from the company said.

“While many people have been panic-buying toilet paper and dry pasta, we have been stockpiling servers so that site performance isn’t affected by the inevitable uptick in visitors.

“Our analysts expect users to be ‘self-isolating’ on average 2 or 3 times per day while working from home, so we have tripled our capacity to account for this.

“Contrary to what some adverts may suggest, for the foreseeable future we would advise against coming into contact with any hot MILFs in your area.”

The move has been welcomed by home workers, who have warned of the side effects of self-isolation.

“It’s reassuring to see that online filth-peddlers are better prepared for a crisis than our own government,” home worker Terence Lightfoot said.

“Working from home can be lonely business and it can drive you a bit crazy at times, so one can only imagine the levels of hysteria and panic buying of Razzle that we’d see if these measures were not put in place.

“Hopefully we’ll now see similar steps being taken by other essential websites like NetDix, GoochTube and my own personal favourite niche site, InstaGran.”
