Yeay. Fed slashes the rates to 0 to 0.25%

Get ready for 30 year mortgages to be 2.5 to 2.75% and 15 year mortage to be between 2 to 2.25%

It might take some time for the markets to reflect these rates but it will get there..

There will be a lot demand initially so rates won't fall for some time. I am thinking between 1 to 2 months the rates will start dropping..

if there is no respite from the current mess... recession/layoffs/foreclosures... housing market collapse... then mortgage rate will fall... till then it is better to hold off...

Fed rates are not tied to mortgage rates. Mortgage rates are driven by Mortgage backed securities (MBS)

Unless the fed starts lowering rates on MBS or they pump money in to MBS your home mortgage rates wont see a change.

Stop spreading misinformation please.
