A South Mumbai girls too wanted to take every precaution possible to deal with the pandemic, but with branded face masks.

A neighborhood chemist that our reporter spoke to revealed that many girls from south Mumbai have be asking for branded face masks.

“Since the virus outbreak, we have been flooded by many customers, especially 20 something girls. Most of them looking branded masks,” revealed the chemist store owner.

“When I told them that the only branded face masks they can find are the ones by 3M, they wore a disappointed look on their face. Overheard them discussing about going to Zara outlet to check out if they had face masks. One even suggested checking out the Apple store if they had iMask,” he added.

Many other stores too had similar stories to tell. To deal with the situation, the Association of South Mumbai Chemists has now asked all stores in the area to put up a banner outside their store saying that they do not stock branded or designer face masks.
