The AP state GSDP growth rate for the year 2018-19 was revised downwards , as per data from Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation. The growth rate at constant 2011-12 prices was found to be only 4.45 percent , revised downwards from the previous state government ‘s claim of 11.6 percent.

Incidentally , India grew at 6.1 percent and Telangana by 9.53 percent in 2018-19 at 2011-12 constant prices .
