Despite coronavirus warnings, people line up at Costco before 3 a.m.

It took an L.A. Times journalist 7 minutes to walk the length of the line at a Los Angeles Costco this morning. People from around the country are also sharing photos and videos of the extreme lines at Costco stores on Tuesday.

 

Update: Shoppers are still lining up to get into Costcos in California, despite requests for social distancing. People in Hawthorne, a suburb of Los Angeles, lined up before 3 a.m. on Wednesday.
