BTW - this guy (Convicts lawyer) also hired other detectives to spy on witness... HC warned once they gotta know about this

Convicts' lawyer says sole witness in Nirbhaya was unreliable

Advocate AP Singh accused the sole eyewitness in the Nirbhaya case, the man who was accompanying her on the fateful night, of being unreliable.

AP Singh: There is a petition questioning the testimony of the sole witness...He is unreliable. He used to take money for interviews. The sting operation done on the sole witness was stopped because there was an apprehension that it would impact the case and the counsel for the accused may use it for their benefit.

Justice Manmohan to AP Singh: We will not be able to help you in the eleventh hour if you raise unimportant points.

After the Delhi high court dismissed pleas of three convicts seeking stay on execution, their lawyer, AP Singh said, "I will go to Supreme Court when I get the order copy. I have spoken to Registrar, I will go to him."
