yeah .. sachin and ganguly ni baga encourage chesevadu to bowl more .. even Jadeja kuda bowling vese vadu .. infact indian pitches lo opening bowling iche vadu to ganguly with 3 spinners in the team

True, Agarkar could've contributed a lot more than he did which is still quite amazing for a bowler of his build and stature but Ganguly never had the confidence in Agarkar that Azhar did. 

Konni test matches lo Ganguly opened the bowling with Srinath at the other end esp those on spin friendly pitches on India since we used to go with 3 spinners back in the day. Also Venkatapathy Raju got a lot of chances(he took almost 100 test wickets) due to Azhar. He was also the captain that gave chance to VVS when he came initially back in 1996.

Appudu India had good part timers, Agarkar was kind of pretty regular in ODIs were he had very good strike rate surely 2-3 wickets teesevaadu although his economy was on bit higher side..

By the the Time Ganguly took over Nehra & Zaheer came on to the scene and were doing bit better consistently in tests but Ajit was certain in ODIs..

Raju, Kumble, Chauhan 3 varities of Spinners under Azhu did well in pairs... Raju's form dipped after 1997 and slowly faded out.
