Papa John's announced today that it plans to hire 20,000 workers to deal with the rising demand for pizza delivery across the country. The coronavirus outbreak has closed dine-in options at restaurants and forced more consumers to order food for pick up or delivery. Papa John's is the latest company to increase hiring because of the outbreak.

Papa John's shares that it is the third-largest pizza delivery company in the world, yet it is facing the same struggles as other delivery businesses while they try to keep up with demand during the coronavirus outbreak. The push to add 20,000 new employees will help Papa John's delivery and carryout services. The available positions include cashiers, customer service representatives, drivers, managers, assistants and other roles.

In a press release, Papa John's explained that it is making it easier to apply for work by offering both online and text message options. Job applicants may have interviews and start working the same day.
