Question: If I wait to file taxes, will they use my 2018 tax filing to give stimulus check? I won't be eligible to get any money if I file 2019 taxes. Is it more sensible to wait to file taxes in this case?

I used TurboTax on F1 before, 1040NREZ only for first five years.

I think it is the last tax filing, whichever it is. But I don't know if they're going to wait until everyone files taxes or not.

check deposit date will be beyond the tax filing deadline of July..

mostly u will get checks in August i think

And yes..u dont need to file tax to get the money...if they cant fond 2019--- they will use 2018 details
