Visuals emerge of migrant worker exodus in India due to coronavirus

Just curious - thousands of migrants means would it be 5% or 10% of our entire population ??

even in the least case, let's say 20% are suffering - but 80% ppl are atleast quarantined.

the govt (both states & central) are acting very rapidly to take care of these migrants too - just need to have some patience. may be in a week, hope all these migrants will be moved to a safe place and given shelter.

Anything that reduces rate of transmission is a good move.. Ippudemana takkuva spread avtonda ana question I don't know what stat you know and blabbering about.. For sure it is lesser than if strict measure like lockdown was not announced. That is ground reality and it holds truth anywhere

first ee plan chesi cheyyali, after seeing how people behaving rules change chesi disruption of life chesthe baguntadhi antava? Intha pedda democratic country lo how things work ane basic avagahana lekunda leaders unnaru and daniki nuvvu blind ga support chestunnav. Nice.

So...first etla plan cheyali ?

let everyone know that there will be a lock down situation and give them 10-15 days time to move back to their home states ? Then people will get panic, start buying things that they don’t need, rush to banks to withdraw cash that they don’t need, stock up stuff that they don’t need, traders try to grab opportunity and jack up prices, Give them enough time so that they can move around in panic, in huge groups and act as perfect transmitters for the Corona virus and take them along to remote places and infect millions ?

Democratic country to things ela work out avutundi ane alochinchakunda lock down petinaru antava ? Like, the departments and administrations who are all present at this moment ?

Migrant labour exodus is a problem in Delhi mostly, Mumbai also has huge migrant population but it’s not a severe problem in Maharashtra.

The migrant labour were not living off the streets, they have been living in shelters even before the lock down announced and were expected to stay put up themselves at the same place for 21 days and this was the whole idea of lock down.

You cannot stop Panic buying no matter what. Those are basic needs to feed families regardless. Mass Movement of people never happened in any country that lock down so far.

Remember the situation near Telangana-AP border on Day1 and 2? Hostel bandh ayinayi ani okkokkadu dukanam sardesidnu...Almost every Andhrite in Hyderabad has a decent place to stay and but still thousands flocked to the border to move to their home town.

This is quite similar with situation I’m Delhi...cutting down electricity lines and water, MiS handling by Delhi Govt has what made things terrible...

This will never happen if the rules are clear like this

Its silly to say stay home without letting the people know what is available for them and clear communication can do most of it
