Navy hospital ship arrives in New York City to help COVID-19 efforts

The USNS Comfort – a 1,000-bed vessel equipped with operating rooms and intensive care units – sailed into New York Harbor on Monday to service patients without COVID-19 and help relieve city hospitals strained by the ongoing coronavirus outbreak. Mayor Bill de Blasio said on Sunday that New York City now has more than 33,000 confirmed cases of the virus.
