Yes bro, however you should read about what Nietzsche said about Stoicism. Some pretty interesting thoughts he had about it.

There are a lot of things I disagree with Nietzsche about, however I can't deny his influence on a lot of contemporary philosophy. 

My favorite philosopher if I can name one would be Baruch Spinoza.
