Dude - Help poor if you can, but don't bring politics into everything. As far as I know, you are one of the prime members who bring politics into everything which is un-related and most of the dbians follow you/mock you...

India is doing lot better than other countries.

If CBN ever cared for AP ppl, THEN he can do lot even now without being in power...

Expecting too much. His hatred knows no bounds.

Ee okka sariki I agree with you Psyco thatha.. This lockdown was done without any planning and poor people in India are really suffering. Even lower middle class people like auto drivers and daily wage workers are running out of money to buy any supplies.. It's only the beginning of the lockdown.. Come mid April and end of April the suffering will only intensify..

Without any studies or any observations of how the virus will do in Indian summer heat, he just panicked and because of him the lower class is really really suffering..

Palletoori gujju gadini CM cheste itlane untay cheshtalu..This lock down will kill more people than the actual virus itself..

Pregnant woman, husband walk over 100 km post lockdown to reach home

After the 21-day lockdown was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in view of the Coronavirus pandemic, the couple was asked to leave by their employer in Saharanpur who did not even consider the fact that the woman was expecting her delivery in a month’s time.

After being sacked by their employer in Saharanpur, an eight-month pregnant woman and her husband walked for more than 100 km until they reached Meerut on Saturday where they got the help to reach their village Amargarh in Syana of Bulandshahr district.

After the 21-day lockdown was announced by Prime Minister in view of the Coronavirus pandemic, the couple was asked to leave by their employer in Saharanpur who did not even consider the fact that the woman was expecting her delivery in a month’s time. Not only this, he also did not give the husband’s salary after which the hapless couple decided to go to their paternal village in Bulandshahr walking all the way from Saharanpur.

The man and his pregnant wife were spotted at the Sohrab Gate bus stand on Saturday. They were badly tired and were looking for some public transport to reach Bulandshahr. Here, some local residents, considering the condition of the woman, informed the police that came forward for help.

Ashutosh Kumar, SHO of Nauchandi Police Station told that an ambulance was arranged for the woman Yasmeen and her husband Vakil that dropped them to their village Amargarh in Syana of Bulandshahr district on Saturday night. They were also given some money and food.

Vakil and his wife Yasmeen had arrived here on Saturday after walking for more than 100 km from Saharanpur. The couple had been walking for two days at a stretch.

At Sohrab Gate bus stand, Naveen Kumar and Ravindra saw them inquiring about some means to reach Bulandshahr. The woman was in a bad condition hence the locals immediately informed the Nauchandi Police.

Yasmeen, sharing her story with the cops, said that her husband who worked at a factory in Saharanpur was sacked and they were also asked to vacate the accommodation that was provided to them by the employer immediately after the lockdown was announced. The employer even refused to clear the dues. Hence left with no other way, the couple decided to walk towards their village from Saharanpur on Thursday.

The locals arranged food for them and also gave them some money while the police arranged an ambulance for them that dropped them safely at their village.

Coronavirus pandemic | Famished pregnant woman helped by locals after walking 100 km post-lockdown

They had been walking for two days without food before locals had come to their rescue in Meerut

An eight-month pregnant woman was forced to cover 100 km on foot without food to reach home after her husband was sacked by his employer. They had been walking for two days without food before locals came to their rescue.

Their long walk home to Bulandshahr started last week from Saharanpur, following the announcement of the nationwide 21-day lockdown to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus in the country.

The exhausted couple was finally offered financial assistance and an ambulance to cover the remaining distancing after local residents Naveen Kumar and Ravindra spotted them in Meerut on March 28.

The migrant worker and his wife, who hail from Amargarh village of Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh, were turned out by their employer without a penny after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s lockdown announcement. Not just that, defying the directive of the PM to not cut the salary of the workers, the employer refused to hand over the monthly salary to the husband, reported The Statesmen.

Penniless, they were forced to walk to their paternal village in Bulandshahr.

When they had halted at Sohrab Gate bus stand, possibly hoping to take public transport to cover the rest of the way, they were spotted by the Meerut locals. The locals who noticed them immediately reached out to the police, who came forward and helped them.

Ashutosh Kumar, Station House Officer, Nauchandi Police Station said the couple — Yasmeen and Vakil — used to stay in a one-room accommodation provided by the employer. The husband used to work at a factory in Saharanpur.

The announcement of the three-week lockdown has seen a mass exodus of migrant labourers and daily wage earners, most of whom have been walking home in the absence of any means to make money and pay for travel.
