Most of the sectors[ Hospitality, medical, Online services] are in financial doldrums due to Covid. 

Our place[ a hospital system] came up with 10 % paycut.

arent the hospitals full with covid patients ?? i know the ER is empty and no in patients but still ... how can there be no money when there is an on going health pandemic

Thats the common misconception across the nation. 

Except hospitals in NY and other big cities [like Milwaukee in WI]  rest of the hospitals does not have many Covid pts. 

Due to Covid outbreak all the health systems were left with no option, but to cancel all the outpatient services and elective surgeries until the pandemic settle down. This lead to "millions of dollars" loss for health systems across the nation.

Even the hospitals which were dealing with Covid patients are bleeding money. For ex..NY Presbyterian lost almost 500 million dollars to Covid so far
