అభివృద్ధి చెందిన దేశాల కన్నా ఇండియా మిన్న... కరోనా మరణాల సంఖ్య చాలా తక్కువే!

ఇండియాలో గత నెలలో కరోనా వైరస్ కారణంగా దాదాపు 200 మంది మృత్యువాత పడ్డారు. ఈ మహమ్మారి ప్రళయతాండవం చేస్తున్న వేళ, వైరస్ సోకిన వారి సంఖ్యతో పోలిస్తే, ఇండియాలో మరణాల రేటు 3 శాతంగా ఉంది. ఇదే సమయంలో ప్రపంచ సగటు, ముఖ్యంగా అభివృద్ధి చెందిన దేశాల్లో నమోదవుతున్న మరణాలతో పోలిస్తే, భారత్ లో మృతుల రేటు చాలా తక్కువగా ఉందని వైద్య రంగంలోని నిపుణులు వ్యాఖ్యానించారు.

 మరణాల రేటు తక్కువగా ఉండటానికి, ఇండియాలో యువత అధికంగా ఉండటం ఓ కారణమని విశ్లేషకులు అంచనా వేస్తున్నారు. ఇటలీ, స్పెయిన్ వంటి దేశాల్లో వృద్ధుల సంఖ్య అధికంగా ఉండటంతోనే ఆయా దేశాల్లో మృతుల సంఖ్య ఎక్కువగా నమోదవుతోందని వెల్లడించారు. 

కేంద్ర ఆరోగ్య శాఖ ఈ వారం ప్రారంభంలో వెల్లడించిన గణాంకాల మేరకు, మరణించిన వారిలో 60 సంవత్సరాలు దాటిన తరువాత వైరస్ సోకితే 63 శాతం, 40 నుంచి 60 సంవత్సరాల మధ్య ఉన్న వారిలో మరణాల రేటు 30 శాతం, 40 ఏళ్లలోపు వారిలో 7 శాతంగా ఉన్నారు. నిన్నటివరకూ ఇండియాలో 6,500కు పైగా కేసులు నమోదుకాగా, మరణాల రేటు 3.1 శాతం (దాదాపు 200 మంది) ఉంది.

ఇదే సమయంలో యూఎస్ లో 4.27 లక్షల మందికి వైరస్ సోకగా, 14,696 మంది (3.4 శాతం) మరణించారు. జాన్ హాప్కిన్స్ వర్శిటీ గణాంకాల ప్రకారం యూఎస్ డెత్ రేటు 3.57 శాతం. ఇక యూరప్ విషయానికి వస్తే, స్పెయిన్ లో మరణాల శాతం 9.73గా ఉంది. ఈ దేశంలో 1.57 లక్షల మందికి వ్యాధి సోకగా, 15,843 మంది మరణించారు. ఇటలీలో 1.43 లక్షల మందికి వ్యాధి సోకగా, 18,279 మంది (12.72 శాతం) మరణించారు. బ్రిటన్ లో 65 వేల మందికి వ్యాధి సోకగా, 7,978 మంది (12 శాతం) మృత్యువాత పడ్డారు. ఈ గణాంకాలతో పోలిస్తే, ఇండియాలో మృతుల శాతం చాలా తక్కువనే చెప్పాలి.

ఇక మరో అభివృద్ధి చెందిన దేశం జర్మనీ మాత్రం మరణాల రేటును గణనీయంగా తగ్గించుకోగలిగింది. జర్మనీలో 1,13,525 మందికి వైరస్ సోకగా, 2,373 మంది మాత్రమే (2.09 శాతం) మరణించారు. ఈ దేశంలోని వైద్య విధానం మృతుల సంఖ్య అతి తక్కువ ఉండేలా చేసింది. ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా వైరస్ సోకిన దేశాల సగటు మరణాల శాతం 5.98 శాతంతో పోల్చినా, ఇండియాలో మరణాల రేటు తక్కువే. తాజా గణాంకాల ప్రకారం, 16.10 లక్షల మందికి వ్యాధి సోకగా, ఇప్పటివరకూ 96 వేల మందికి పైగా మరణించారు.

ఇండియాలో లాక్ డౌన్ నిబంధనలను పకడ్బందీగా అమలు చేయడం కూడా మరణాల రేటును తగ్గించిందని వైద్య రంగంలోని నిపుణులు అభిప్రాయపడుతున్నారు. ఇండియాలో ప్రాంతాల వారీగా పరిశీలిస్తే, మరణాల రేటులో ఎంతో వ్యత్యాసం కనిపిస్తోందని ఫరీదాబాద్ కేంద్రంగా పనిచేస్తున్న ఫోర్టిస్ స్కార్ట్స్, పల్మనాలజీ విభాగం సీనియర్ కన్సల్టెంట్ డాక్టర్ రవి శేఖర్ ఝా అంచనా వేశారు. ఇండోర్ లో మరణాల రేటు 10 శాతం కాగా, హర్యానాలో వ్యాధి సోకిన వారిలో ఒక్క శాతం మాత్రమే మరణించారని గుర్తు చేశారు. ఇండియాలో 60 ఏళ్లు దాటిన వారు ఇళ్ల నుంచి బయటకు రావడాన్ని దాదాపుగా మానుకోవడం కూడా మరణాల రేటును కుదించిందని వ్యాఖ్యానించారు.

India lo virus incubation period is more if we see series of incidents, March 13 th to 14 jarigithe April lo +ve vastundi
