NASA and SpaceX set historic date for astronaut launch from US soil in nearly a decade

NASA announced on Friday that the agency is planning to send astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken on May 27 to the International Space Station aboard a rocket built by SpaceX. The Crew Dragon spacecraft, which will launch from Florida's Kennedy Space Center, will carry the first crewed space mission to launch into orbit from US soil since 2011.
