Hyderabad police launch online pass for essential and emergency services

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad City Police have launched an online version of the e-pass for individuals, establishments, vehicles and organisations which can be downloaded and printed from the police website.

The pass can be accessed from the portal of the Hyderabad City Police www.hyderabadpolice.gov.in under the section 'Apply for Essential Goods and Services Emergency Pass.'

The interface requires the citizen to fill in his personal details, photograph and identity proof. The application will be received and acknowledged on SMS by the Special Branch of the Hyderabad police. With the reference number given in the acknowledgement, the citizen can download his pass and print it on a colour printer.

The Hyderabad City police released a video explaining the procedure, which takes barely 10 minutes.
