I am saying the kind of antibody generated for COVID-19 is different from the kind of antibodies generated for a different strain of virus. So, what they are testing is if you have had developed immunity to coronavirus.

virus ochindi ante...day 1 nunchi body respond ayi anti-bodies ready cheyada... (not math-match..but some anti bodies)..adi detect chestunnaremo

Day 1 lo produce ayye antibodies innate immune response valla ochevi, mostly interferons are produced. But those are not specific for the virus, they can be produced by any infection. Vellu detect chesedi test specific for COVID-19.

STANDARD Q COVID-19 IgM/IgG Duo Test Kit is a rapid immunochromatography test designed for the qualitative presumptive detection of specific IgM and IgG to SARS-CoV-2 in humoral fluid.

Adaptive immune response is specific to the kind of infection, it takes anywhere between 14-28 days to generate a good adaptive immune response.

RT-PCR is the only test approved by ICMR for the detection of virus. AP lo manufacture chestu, kits chestu testing numbers pencharuga, those tests are not approved by ICMR. TG lo RT-PCR is centralized and run through CCMB.

Even RTPCR has less sensitivity around some 65%
What US physicians are doing is they are taking CT chest and then looking for findings

anything positive on a CT chest is treated as covid positive even if the rapid test or rt pcr is negative

RT-PCR is more specific than that, and is approved by the CDC. At Stanford, they are doing two consecutive RT-PCR test results to see the presence of the virus. They say that only if it's two consecutive tests give negative on RT-PCRs, they are letting the patients go, which they report as close 90% specificity. I saw the CT scan study, but this is only after patient develops viral pneumonia. And not all patients develop viral pneumonia and even if they do, it's only in the later stages of the infection.

Virus ni body lo oste, ne body virus ni fight cheyataniki antibodies produce chestundi. Kani ne body avi produce cheyadaniki 14 days padutundi, sometimes longer. Rapid testing lo antibodies unnayo levo test chestunnaru. So neeku one week back coronavirus ochina, rapid testing lo negative ostundi. Ade RT-PCR lo virus undo ledo test chestaru. So neeku ninna coronavirus ochina RT-PCR cheste positive ostundi. That's why Telangana lo chese RT-PCR is better than rapid testing in Andhra Pradesh.
