The US Department of Defense has permitted the release of three unclassified Navy videos which show "unidentified" aerial phenomena and what appears to be the audio reactions of several Navy pilots. The DOD says it decided to release the footage, recorded in 2004 and 2015, to "clear up any misconceptions by the public on whether or not the footage that has been circulating was real."
