• Vice President Mike Pence wore a mask while touring a General Motors plant in Indiana that is making ventilators.
• Pence's visit came after he sparked criticism for failing to wear a mask during a tour of the Mayo Clinic despite that facility requiring masks for everyone there because of coronavirus restrictions.
• President Donald Trump, who tapped Pence to lead the White House coronavirus task force, has refused to wear a mask, even as federal health officials urge Americans to take such precautions against the virus that causes Covid-19.
