not really , it might be craze for ppl who don't have much wealth in India like middle class or lower middle class

for people who have 15 to 20 cr movable & immovable assets, it is just status symbol to go foreign & come back. 

Also there r many ppl who r earing 1.5 to 2 L/annum in IT in India & managing other businesses so they too don't care much about money in US unless they opt for standard of living
