Sometimes no.. one of my friend has been working in taleo tech for 120 per hour billing and his team is almost stable and he gets to work only once in 3 months or so.

I have a PhD and work in non-IT field in a mid range city. I make around $110k with ~10% bonus, experience ~5years, FT

Eee DB lo salaries choosi, sometimes i question myself if I am on the right track with respect to earning. The positive side in my current role is max 45 h a week and no that much stress or deadlines
