Hyatt to lay off 1,300 employees as pandemic cripples travel

• Hyatt Hotels said it would lay off 1,300 people globally as it tries to cope with the coronavirus crisis.
• Hyatt said it had also cut pay for senior management, board members and all employees as part of a restructuring, adding that the staff who were being laid off would be eligible for receive severance pay.

you should have now understood by now how things work in US . A furoulgh employee for more than a month atleast is very very rare to come back unless high dependency . 

first furlough ane antaru . but adi management ki munde telusu lay off ani. the employee should understand that before itself

furlough is to maintain cash reserve man.......maa company lo first furlough till may 29 annaru daanini july 4 ki extend chesaaru..

even after they come back i'm pretty sure there are going to be layoffs

Temporary furlough nunchi malli rehire cheyyali ante chala kashtam bro. Only few businesses hire such people but 50% of the furloughs are permanent layoffs.
