1099 or S-corp2corp. With a corporation, you can write off some expenses like home office, IRA, laptop, tablet, phone, internet, gas, Repairs/maintenance, travel, etc.

If you need sponsorship to work in the US, you cannot start a S-Corp or work as 1099 Contractor (you need to work through your sponsor).

Choose the right tech this time when you switch career.
