1962 war wasn't costly for China for some reason. even though India was the more industrial nation at that time.

but this time, since China is more industrially superior, sure they are going to be severely hurt by the time they wasted industrializing their nation.

India on the other hand remained simple and true to its roots, and that will be a big advantage in the oncoming war.
