Why don't he contest from mylapore mla seat which has Good number of B's there and also his native place I think

Read that TOI article, so why did loose in 1996 if he had such personal image ?? What boosted him a lot in just 2 yrs to win the seat in 1998..

He didn't have enough time to work as mp

96,98,99 election were so quick
