chotu Posted May 23, 2020 Report Share Posted May 23, 2020 After reading entire thread felt like sharing my thoughts and opinions, good post @Catalpha you have reasons for not having kids and seeking reasons for having kids, but sounds like you did made a choice/leaning towards not having kids, Having Kids - like everyone said you'll make memories, emotions, happiness, sadness, missing out, completes being a human all this could be a very much true, but you will know only when you experience it. if you decide to have kids, yes you are making a choice which requires 100% commitment and responsibility which you cannot and shouldn't escape, because I feel like you own them, the emotional bonding is strong which doesn't match to any other emotions you experience, be it with things or any other people in your life and society always exists to remind your responsibility. Not having kids - you will have a choice of what to commit to and what to be responsible for whatever you choose to do with life plans you got , you will still make memories good/bad experience all sort of emotions. I feel one will have more control to their life. In both cases Its just choice making and facing the consequences, tomorrow doesn't exist in real its just a thought/idea, you either like/dislike it, but don't live it today, if you do you're giving your thought a emotion which just multiplies.
