An earthquake, reported by GeoNet to have a magnitude of 5.8, struck near Levin, New Zealand, on Monday morning and was felt from the north of Auckland to Dunedin. When the quake hit, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern was giving a live television interview but didn't let it shake her composure, simply waiting for the worst to pass before continuing on. No damage was reported.
