mostly abt diversion- lot many US companies r in talks with India after Covid thing, he is just trying to show what he can do but it’s Modi there - not that easy to play with him.

Honestly the Indian govt r not downplaying them but being tough too than ever from each n every corner where the Chinkies never expected this kind of attitude from India. 

Couple of days back, the same dialogue came from Chinky saying “We’ll try to solve thru diplomatic talks” after thaatha tried fingering - which is not usual thing they do. 
 

it’s purely abt technology/mfg/economy thing for Chinky but cannot afford to go for war as they even knew the whole world is really pissed off with this Covid and any aggressive behavior may lead to disastrous for them.

After making Ladakh UT India started moving assets to J and K ... ippudu adi normal state aitadi with roads, buildings, business etc

naturally next target is China occupied Kashmir'
