Just to add to it, Samajika vargam antu separate ga ledu aa time lo. Kshatriyudaina, Vishwamitrudu bramharshi ayyi Brahmin clans ki aadyudainadu.. That is why you would see Vishwamitra gotram both in Kshatriya  and bramhins today. Similarly, Ajamidha, Puramidha, Devapi, Kavasa, Janaka who are all non brahmins became brahmins.

An entire Kshatriya clan Dhastru became brahmins. So, it is not by birth alone that one becomes a brahmin. Nalanda and Takshila had rigorous entry level exams that determined the nature and put them in the correct course according to their bent.

What has happened is a transition from the varna system to the caste system in the late 1700 to early 1800s that introduced the concept of at birth decision matrix as opposed to the older model. Atrocities were perpetuated based on convoluted understanding of the scriptures and that resulted in the current quagmire of castes and superiority. Case in point being, a study of castes in each of the regions. Yadav's a tribe supposedly from Krishna's lineage are upper caste in UP where as the same in AP are lower caste. So, all this is not from 5000 years. Only in the recent past.

No scripture says/restricts people by birth, but by attitude and aptitude. I am yet to read even a single line from a scripture or holy book that demeans people based on birth. While there were atrocities committed in the name of caste, most of it is sectarian and concentrated to the area as well.

If you still want to go ahead and hate Brahmins, you are free to do so. But, atleast ensure that your bias has some truth to it.

Problem for awhile in India esp with state like Tamil Nadu untouchability issues showed up . It caught global attention .
