On Monday, law enforcement officials were ordered to extend the perimeter around Lafayette Square in Washington, D.C., just before President Trump walked to John's Episcopal Church during protests for a photo op. The order, which resulted in tear gas and rubber bullets being fired at peaceful protesters outside the White House, came from Attorney General William Barr, the Washington Post reports.
