సాఫ్ట్‌వేర్‌ ఇంజినీర్‌ నుంచి రూ.3.63 లక్షలు నగదు బదిలీ

 

ఈనాడు, హైదరాబాద్‌: సామాజిక మాధ్యమం ఇన్‌స్టాగ్రామ్‌ ద్వారా ఓ సాఫ్ట్‌వేర్‌ ఇంజినీర్‌కు పరిచయమైన కిలాడీ యువతి నగ్న చిత్రాలు చూపించి బెదిరించి రూ.3.63 లక్షలు బదిలీ చేయించుకుంది. ఆమె బెదిరింపులు భరించలేక బాధితుడు సైబర్‌ క్రైమ్‌ పోలీసులకు మంగళవారం ఫిర్యాదు చేయగా ఈ వ్యవహారం వెలుగులోకి వచ్చింది. ఐటీ కారిడార్‌లో విధులు నిర్వహిస్తున్న సాఫ్ట్‌వేర్‌ ఇంజినీర్‌కు కొద్దిరోజుల క్రితం ఇన్‌స్టాగ్రామ్‌ ద్వారా ఓ యువతి పరిచయమైంది. ఫొటోలు పరస్పరం మార్పిడి చేసుకున్నాక ఒకరోజు కిలేడి నగ్న వీడియోను పంపించింది. సాఫ్ట్‌వేర్‌ ఇంజినీర్‌ను కూడా పంపమని కోరగా.. అతడు కూడా తన నగ్న వీడియోను పంపించాడు. అప్పటి నుంచి ఆ యువతి.. అతని నగ్న వీడియోను అతని కుటుంబ సభ్యులు, సన్నిహితులు, సంస్థ ఉద్యోగులకు పంపుతానంటూ బెదిరించి వారంరోజుల్లోనే రూ.3.63 లక్షలు తన బ్యాంకు ఖాతాలో జమ చేయించుకుంది. అదనంగా మరో రూ.10 లక్షలు డిమాండ్‌ చేయడంతో ఆమె వేధింపులు భరించలేని సాఫ్ట్‌వేర్‌ ఇంజినీర్‌ పోలీసులను ఆశ్రయించాడు.
