President Donald Trump said he has picked Tulsa, Oklahoma, for his first rally since early March, when COVID-19 shut down his campaign trail. The rally will be held on June 19, also known as Juneteenth, a day of commemoration for the ending of slavery in the US. Many also pointed out that in 1921, Tulsa was the site of one of the worst incidents of racial violence in US history, when hundreds of Black Americans were killed by mobs of white residents in the Greenwood District.
