Are you feeling guilty

Are you feeling guilty for leaving your parents on their own in India? I wish I was there with them during this pandemic. Really feeling bad that I left my parents and came here to enjoy freedom forgetting all that they have done to raise me. I am confused and not sure what future holds for me:(

If you want to go. you will go . reasons apart. It gives you happiness when you think " I am thinking of parents".

Bottom line is You dont want to go. You are afraid you dont get good money and freedom in India which is utter BS. Many just get used and become lazy to US and COMFY in life

I know ppl leaving US jobs and building startups in India.

If you are skilled nothing can stop you going back to India

are your parents with their parents? In most cases our parents will not be with their parents unless they are the only son etc

this is cycle of life , hard fact is that your kids will also leave you and stay in some other city or place when they begin college

do face time daily with your parents and be there for them virtually , its ok to worry about them but guilt is pointless

raising kids is the responsibility of parents because they had you , it is okay to be thankful but you do not owe them anything  (also do not expect anything from your kids too) , I know this post goes contrary to what is fed to us since childhood that you owe your parents everything

I am skilled but not talented enough to go for a startup. Yes money does matter to me as I have few mortgages to payoff
