frankly, I don't know.. we all originated from a small pool of humans in history.. close or far doesn't know.. I also believe our ancestors know alot more to create the distinction of maradalu vs chelli varasa.. for me, even though i don't like, it gets strongly influenced if my maradalu is Anushka type..

I don’t think our ancestors know sh!t about genes and genetic pool.

Even if the marriages in the same community prevail for longer generations it is going to cause issues.

What about the law? California lo marrying cousins is a punishable offense. A lot of states have the same law.
