I know whatever I say would not matter to you. But, let me say it any way. Investment kavalante World class capital kadhu, good infrastructure kavali, conducive environment kavali. TN is an industrial state. It non IT exports are 60% of its revenue. All its industrialization is centered around its tier 2 cities like Coimbatore, Trichy, Madurai etc. Gujarat has industries and it does not have a world class capital. If you do not trust my word, you can check the SIPCOT official site and see the locations for yourself. The masterplan of CRDA is a bad idea. Concentrated development is not going to help the state. It actually would give rise to fights within the areas. Repeating the Hyderabad mistake, wouldn't it? What is needed is identify the potential. For example, Hindupur is near to Bangalore and has conducive environment to IT. The access to Bangalore airport, the climate and the lands government has already etc. So, It can be developed there. Also, the same is the case with Tada near to Chennai. Similarly other places for other industries. Not concentrate on the development of a single city. Reduce spend on building a city and invest in building infrastructure, roads etc. With all sympathy to people who lost money in Amaravati bubble including me, I wholeheartedly welcome the move.
