China's policy/mindset is expansionist. They don't calculate good or bad. 

We cannot trust USA. I mentioned this earlier. Honestly this situation is more favourable to USA to escalate tensions between India and China, because they are the fastest growing economies. There is no guarantee that limited action would result into something bigger. It is in the hands of the Commanders to defuse the tension by coming to a truce

Ellenuuu... these are not that easy. China was built for 40 years due to wrong US policies.. We can't cut down all trade in one go. Our domestic consumption will also get effected. Yes, we have been working on increasing manufacturing. Last 4 years lo mfcing increased a lot.. But it will take lot of time for us to become trade surplus nation. We can't allow Chinese to keep intruding our land till then right?

Well, I agree it is not that easy, it is also imprudent in the current situations. They cannot keep intruding our land. Negotiate.
