I don't know what I am missing but I don't get what's the big deal here

I don't see anything that is not possible with current providers such as setting rules and filters according to your needs and if you don't want to hear from someone just spam or block. 

Yes, its seems to be a simpler and cleaner version but to say it is "Revolutionary" I am not so sure and I will not pay for it at this time.
