Not a good defense. International brands are household names, Google, Twitter, Apple, even Starbucks....do you find any Indian companies with strong international presence?

Of course it is a fitting defense. you are the one who asked to find out if my white neighbor heard about our brands. I pointed you to how little they care about the rest of the world. You asked about international brands and now you are asking about household names.

When you get American citizenship, you are called an American - not an Indian anymore.

The same applies to brands. When they get acquired, they become Indian. If an Indian brand gets acquired by an American company, it becomes American brand.

International doesn’t mean just America or our white neighbor knowing about it. There is more to international than just America. If a brand is exported or used by other countries, that is international already. You are talking about scale which  is subjective. A very poor Country may not be using google, Twitter, Apple, Starbucks - so should they call these brands as not international? Size and scale don’t matter. Who cares if a brand is a household name? We buy so many items without ever knowing about them.

How are InfoSys, Tata, Jaguar, Louis Philip, etc not international brands? Based on just what your uninformed white neighbor knows? Are you not buying Swad, Laxmi brands at Indian groceries in US? They are international brands too. Who cares if they have a small scale or if our uninformed white neighbor never heard about them?

In all seriousness, yes FCUK all CHINESE products.

It’s not possible. Each and every product we use has many elements from China. Your computer, printer, phone, house, furniture, appliances, equipment, car, blah...

It’s not possible antunnadu TRAITOR  @AFDBRAJA

How many people in India can really abandon tiktok? It remains to be seen because More than 30% tiktok users are from India. It may be the last to get abandoned.

if India doesn’t have large scale brands, it only means it is a poor country - not talentless.

Clearly you think China is not as creative as India is.

Because they are notorious copycats and the only thing they can do and have no creativity. Right from their schooling days, they learn to copy others and no creativity.

IP law is virtually nonexistent in China. If you search for a product on Amazon, you will come across the exact, same product with a different brand printed on it from several vendors. It is a $hit hole.

Indians are creative and nerdy.

Wonder where all the creativity is going if not for new brands and international exposure. Clearly China is doing a better job in the manufacturing industry when compared to India.

if India doesn’t have large scale brands, it only means it is a poor country - not talentless. Your initial tone indicated that India doesn’t have the talent to create international brands asking to name 5 brands. Give them money and they will show their talents. In fact, many products/modules at google, Facebook, Twitter, Apple, Disney, etc were built by Indians! Many Indians rule large corporations as CEOs - Microsoft, Google, CA Associates... and building brands that you are talking about. If they helped build brands in America, should they not get credit?
