Current challenges : Mark 2 4.5 generation is facing impossible delays..should have been induced by now..and doesnt look they will be ready even in 2025. And 5.5 AMCA, which is future and supposed to take first test flight in 2034 -2035 will never be ready as no progress made in project design ohase and poor budget/ no funding ..no confirmation on engine design initiation.. its pure lack of intent from current leadership!!! Expand Engine delay. GE is set to start delivering engines starting March, at the rate of 16 engines per year, that will take about 4 yesrs to deliver 71 engines. Literally 3 year delay. With that time frame, Mach 2 wont be ready by 2026. MK1 only six more to be delivered and production line will start MK2 sometime in March and with expected 12 planes per year, it will take 2030 to deliver the MK2. LCA is crucial, ideal for everyday operations and recon. I see this number going up by upto 200-300 by 2035.
