SAP saturated now Advansoft ani undedhi vaadu baaga kummukunnadu sap ni aa rojullo producer ayyi cinema lu kuda theesadu. One of my friend chitizen here 1099 meedha 125$ / hr working sfo downtown lo

Advansoft ante sunkara uncle ee kada ??  125 $ /hr now ,ante still not bad for that old technology. People who started with SAP in 2000’s can now drag it for few more years and retire without shifting to other tech/get upgrades themselves. Interesting to know with one tech stack people made good fortunes and still going strong. They should be indebted to SAP company.

I came here in 2006 but I have my distant relatives in us since 1982. Whenever I got a chance to meet I will ask them about this and acc to them those were the golden days even though dollar value is mere 12 rupees. Lot of jobs less talent in techical fields and engineering. My relative was a civil engineer from BITs and later PhD in USA and in 80s civil eng was in demand due to lot of infrastructure developments took place in those days. Salaries are around 100k even those days which is way way highly paid.  And when software industry was demand they brought their siblings and parents to USA on family based green cards. Few of them are health care background but but dint peruse and shifted to software and hourly rates are around 200 to 300 in SAP those days. Now they are completely Americanized since second generation kids are married to Americans and third generation kids are in line. They earned a lot and bought lot of properties in hyd and other cities which are way way cheaper scoring to their income in USA. Now they are multi millionaires only taking properties in India. Not sure what they are going to with all those properties in india. For eg they have few properties in Banjara hill which are worth Crores and they brought them for less than 1lk in those days.

In years around 1990-97 time lo vachina uncles koncham chepandi vayya , how was the life/immigration/IT jobs /rates . For the  present generation pilla kayalaku.

Ps: don’t know much about US but my dad and uncle went to Germany in 89/90 just on a tourist visa. Lots of jobs are available that time for people who are willing to work hard (of course hard jobs, mostly Punjabi’s would lead/help fellow Indians to settle down or atleast guide them initially). language was a major concern but one would get Job easily. Indians ante only Punjabi’s and Kerala nurses at that time in Europe. They used to go officially to police station and renew their tourist visa /work permit with just an stamp in passport . Eventually when Berlin Wall was fallen , things became even more smother and after few years on work permit , eventually they got citizenship.i heard One can easily get laid with Europe girl That time, as brown skin was something rare to them.
