On March 21, 2001 in reply to a question (Q No/ 3544) by MP CV Singh in Lok Sabha, Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s junior minister for external affairs had stated the same fact.

In fact, parliamentary records show that the 43,000 sq km of Ladakh land that is occupied by China includes the 5,180 sq km ceded by Pakistan to China and it has been mentioned at least 30 times in the two houses in the last 20 years.

This indicates that the Indian government’s consistent position has been that China occupies not 43,000 sq km but 43,180 sq km (38000+5180 sq km) of Indian territory in the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir (or the current Ladakh union territory).

A senior BJP minister said, “Those who are citing statements made by the government in Parliament to claim that the government is lying are withholding facts and being economical with truth.”

every army family is proud to have someone from theirs fight for country. keyboard ichi type cheyyamante arige daka kodataru. antha answer cheppali anukune vallaithe why don't they fight for country either in army or in society instead of just hitting some keys on an online forum.

but that doesn't mean go for a full on war and lose lives for our people. China didn't reveal  their death count, but many reports say its more than us. That's a lesson for them. Do they care or not, that's a different story and that's a win for our army.

That doesnt' mean we should take thousands of people and go for war. No other country supports if we do that. It's just calling out for WW3.
