they will open Phase 4 that will run from July 4th on wards soon. Also because of the recent issues with US government most likely they will allow US airlines like Delta and United to run non-stop flights to Delhi and Mumbai.. Wait till next week/June end. You should be able to find plenty of flights..

One Small Trick  - Go to Air india Office . Purchase ticket from their office. If tickets not avaiable, they will place you on hold list and you will be given 1st preferrence whenever ticktets are available. You cant do this if you purchase tickets from website ...

P.S . IT worked for 2 of my friends and they got back here couple of weeks ago

how about other airlines like Emirates? They are booking tickets but did they get clearance to fly from Ind-US?

Not yet, they are hoping that India will grant permission starting from July 15th.. (with the recent U.S. warning to India)
